Mrs. Susannah McGoun

Closely following the death of Mrs. Isabella Allen, her sister, Mrs. Susannah McGoun, of near Portersville, passed away at the home of her husband, Joseph McGoun, who survives her. Mrs. McGoun was a daughter of Francis Leslie, and was 80 years of age. Her entire life was spent in this locality, and she was widely known and highly respected in the community where much of her life was spent. The death of her sister, Mrs. Allen, proved a great shock to Mrs. McGoun, whose health had not been robust, and she declined so rapidly after hearing the sorrowful news that she passed away the following day. The interment took place at Portersville, and the funeral was attended by a large number of friends.
