Wesley Cartwright, Mrs. Sarah Cartwright and son Alfred of this city, have returned from Youngstown where they attended the funeral Sunday of the late Rev. Elijah Cartwright, the father of Wesley Cartwright. Mention of the venerable man's death was made last week in The News. He was over 87 years of age, and was for most of his active life associated with the steel mills of Youngstown and Cleveland. He was born in England, and came to America when a young man. For almost 75 years, he was a member and worker in the Methodist church, being an ordained minister and a member of the East Ohio conference. He was the father of 14 children, 12 of whom are living.
