1840 Gibson Township , Clearfield County Census

Before the creation on Elk county in 1843, the boundaries of Benezette , Jay, Fox and Gisbon Township were continually changing and were included in Clearfield County between 1810-1840. This census listing takes you back before Elk County was established. You may find some of your early ancestors living in Clearfield County. This listing includes all households and white male and female counts but no other counts. I hope this helps in your search. Thanks to Mary Jean Kwitowski for her quality checking and support fot this and other census records.
