1893-1905 Death Records Index

Butler County, PA

The 1893-1905 records were transcribed from the original ledger books which are located in the Butler County Courthouse.  They have been transcribed, complete with  errors, so that they are as close to being a duplication of the originals as possible.  As with any work of this nature, different people can read the handwriting in slightly different ways and this is merely our interpretation. Due to size constraints, we did have to abbreviate some columns of information, but we did not delete any information.  The complete transcription of these records has been compiled into book form and is available at www.butlerhistory.com.
