WERST

Andrew died 1847, Upper Saucon Twp., and I cannot locate this surname at all, for 25+ years. He and wife, Catherine are listed at Freidens Church 1794, as well as my gggf, Tobias, and a sister Elizabeth. Unproven Father, also listed there, was Peter WERST and wife, Magdelena. This may be the Lt. Peter WERST who served under Capt. Christopher JOHNSTON's Company, during the RW, who was said to have died about 1838 at age 100. or close to 100. He may be the Peter WARST listed in Bucks County , PA 1790, as well as the Peter WERST, 1772, who bought land in Northampton Co., but disappears again!
