VAN VELLSER/VAN VESLOR  ---------------------------Louise Van VESLOR was the wife of Laurance WITMAN c1781-1849. They were living in Tinicum Twp. in 1830, and their son was probably born there c1830. Dates/places/parents for Louise are unknown as yet. A distant cousin has given me these possible maiden names for her, but neither of us can pinpoint one with accuracy. VASTINE, ABRAHAM ----------------------- lived in or about the Hilltown, Bucks County, Pa. area. Need firm source of militia information for this individual. Don't know where to look. Tried many sites to no avail. Abraham's family spread from Kentucky into the old Northwest Territory north of the Ohio Riverbetween 1790-1800. It is from this line that my family is taken. Other Abraham's children remained in northern Kentucky in Campbell county and Pendleton County...with their children spreading throughout the midwest and western states. -------------vastine@theriver.com

VAUGHN ---------------------------------------- time frame 1830-1880 ?- Looking for info on a Vaughn family that had a son Henry R Vaughn born around 1834-36 in Bucks county. He married a Permelia Brooks also born Bucks county around same time frame, they were married in Mercer Co., Trenton, NJ in April 27,1856..They lived in Trenton area and had 4 sons Anderson, Charles,  Joseph, George. Anderson's birth name was Jesse Anderson Vaughn but always used just Anderson...In a 1850 Bucks Co, Falls Township census, I have Henry living with a William Thackery family age 16..-----------------------------------------------------triton23@losch.net
