DAVIS, Gideon   --------------------------------------------------- was from Hunterdon Co. NJ.   He married Sarah Morgan, who came from Bucks Co.  They had several children.   Some of their names were Gideon Calvis Davis Jr., Howell Davis, and Elizabeth Davis.  Elizabeth Davis married Hutchinson Jenks Girton of Newton, Bucks, PA.   Gideon Calvin Davis Jr. married Martha Satterthwaite at Indianapolis, IN.   Gideon Calvin Davis Jr. and Martha Satterwaite, and Elizabeth and Hutchinson Girton were my ggrandparents.   I believe Howell Davis married a Nanny or Nancy ? in IL. -------------edjudyjudy@hotmail.com

DAVIS, Griffith ----------------------------- Married Elizabeth Coate in 1739. As far as I know Griffith was a Quaker, But have not been able to find much info. on him. On his children. DAVIS, Mary --------------------------- of Bristol Borough, daughter of William & ____? DAVIS; md (1) John BRELSFORD in 1779 (Swede's Church, Philadelphia), and (2) William SISOM, Jr., in 1820. Mary died between Jan 1828 & Jan 1829. Her will mentions sons: John, Edward, & William Davis BRELSFORD, daughters: Rebecca JAMES, Letitia HELLINGS, and a sister Sarah BROWN. One daughter, Rachel (wife of Joseph?) WEST apparently died before 1828.------------------evadel@cox.net

supposed to be a Day family cemetery in Doylestown PA.  Our branch of the

SWARTZ, Coopersburg, Lehigh Co., PA. Susanna Dickert  was born 12 Feb 1834 in Bucks County,and married Joseph DIEHL (b 1823 in Richland Twp, Bucks Co.  Joseph, herhusband,  died 1895 at the home of his son, Charles Diehl, in Fountain Hill,
Bethlehem, Lehigh Co, PA.)  Susanna had died three years earlier - on 31 Mar
1892 -at the home of their son, Charles Diehl, and his wife.  Joseph and
Susanna (Dickert) Diehl had been living with Charles Diehl and his wife for
