BARNHILL, William ---------He was born in 1796 and died in 1841.  He was married to Ann (maiden name unknown, but could have been Crest/Creist/Grest/Greist.  She died 1881. BEAN-----------------Samuel S. Beans was born June 29th,1862. He died on Feb. 6,1934. He was married to Esther Appleton Beans. She was born Feb. 11, 1867 and died Nov. 19,1931 They are buried in Forest Grove Cemetery near Mechanicsburg, Pa. ( rt 413)
Samuel was raised on the "Indian Springs " farm that had decended through the original Beans, Bein, Barnes ect. family.
Samuel and Esther had the following children:

  • Clarence,born and died in 1896

  • Ethel and Edith, (twins) born in 1901.

  • Edith died in 1902, Ethel died June 4, 1953

  • Leonardo List Beans, born July 26, 1904 and died Dec. 14,1979

    • Leonardo wrote the book "The life and times of Edward Hick" - he was also an Antique Dealer in Trenton, N.J. He was also one of the first men in Radio and Television.

  • Nettie Smith Beans-Bancroft, Adopted daughter of Sam and Esther.

    • Possable natural daughter of Sam, by a former wife?
      Born about 1889

BEVAN ------------------------William and Mordecai. Willliam Bevan of Newtown, who, in 1705, married a Mary Sharples/Sharpus in Haverford. They produced two sons, Benjamin, b.1711 and Mordecai, b. 1709/1710. Mordecai is known to have been born in Bucks Co.

BEYER/ BAYER / BOYER, Adam (Johann) --------------------Arrived Philadelphia on PENNSYLVANIA
MERCHANT, qualifying 18 Sept 1733.  I have a copy of his signature that he  wrote on this ship's list.  In the name BEYER, he put 2 dots over the "y" which could mean he was educated in one of the pre-German areas (Bavaria?).  Warrant for 50 acres in Durham Twp., Bucks Co., Pa. which was surveyed 8 Feb 1745.  Believed to have died about 1754 in Williams Twp., Northampton Co., Pa.  Wife is Maria Sarah, they may have married about 1737-9 but, have found no records.  In 1758 his widow married Andreas (Andrew) BRINKER in Tohickon Union Church.  BRINKER was a Swiss Huguenot Adam may have been a Huguenot also  Names & dates of children of Adam and Sara are:         A(p)polonia - 173(9?) d. 1785, married her stepbrother Ulrich Brinker.         Anna Margaretha - 1741 - 1791         (Johannes) John - 1742-1925.  My ancestor, a Rev. War Veteran.         Conrad - 1744- -1809         Frederick - 1745 - 1825         Michael - 1746 - 1820, also a Rev War Veteran         Elisabeth - 1750 - 1819         Johan(n) Jacob - b. 1752         What country is Adam from?  Who are his parents, siblings?  Where is he buried?  Where and when were Adam and Sara < married?  Who owned land< after his death? ----------------------

John apparently died before 1810, when Mary BRELSFORD appeared as head of a Bristol Borough household. Widow Mary BRELSFORD md William SISOM, Jr., in 1820, and she died before 1829. Children included sons John, Edward, and William Davis BRELSFORD, and daughters Rebecca JAMES, Letitia HELLINGS, and Rachel WEST. Letitia named one son Shepherd Brelsford HELLINGS, which may indicate relationship to a Shepherd BRELSFORD. Was this BRELSFORD family related to a SHEPHERD or SHEPPARD family? BRINLEY ( Brindley or Brinsly) ---------------------------- who immigrated to America in 1682 aboard the "Friends Adventure". He owned property in Makefcield Twp and was mentioned in the Will of Peter Worral on 3 Jun 1694. I believe one of his daughters, Elizabeth, married a Rev. William Davis about 1687. I did not see this surname in the listings. My info shows he was born in Co Stafford, England in 1644 and died aft 1694 in PA, presumably in Bucks Co. BROOKS, Abraham --------------- b. 1800 Bucks Co., PA; d.1878. Seeking parents of Abraham Brooks who was born in Middletown Twp., Bucks Co. in 1800 and was married to Lydia Van Horn 30 Oct 1922. She was the daughter of John Van Horn and Elinora Mode who lived in Middletown. Abraham and family lived in Attleboro (Langhorne) until his death in 1878. The log house where they lived was on the grounds of the Langhorne Country Club.
