MARGARET V. TEMPLETON

 

MARGARET V. TEMPLETON died Wednesday, July 30, 2003, in Doylestown Hospital. She was 84.

She was the beloved wife of the late NORMAN TEMPLETON.

Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late CLARENCE and SARAH (VIOLA) MEYERS.

Margaret was a lifetime resident of Willow Grove and was instrumental in the revival of the Upper Moreland Alumni Association. She enjoyed knitting, card playing and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, MARGARET LINDSEY and her granddaughters, KRISTIN COOK and TARA LONGENBACH and her great-granchildren, BRIANNA COOK and CORRINE and MADYSON LONGENBACH.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 10 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 4, in St. Anne's Episcopal Church, Old York and Old Welsh roads, Abington, where her family will receive friends at 9 a.m.

Interment will immediately follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park Cemetery, Prospectville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Margaret's memory to the Salvation Army, 701 N. Broad St., Philadelphia, PA 19123 would be appreciated by her family.
