Contributors Note: Little is known about this Sarah Yorgey, not even her maiden name. She was the wife of George Yorgey (b.12-5-1802 d. 12-8-1884), son of Johann Christian (1764-1834)and Magdalena (Hanselman) Yorgey (1765-1849). Sarah named no children in her will and did not name an executor. It is not known if Philip Nester was a relative or a friend. George, in his will made bequests only to his beloved wife "Sallie" and appointed his nephew Ephraim Yorgey as his executor. With no children named in either will, nor any found in local church records it might be assumed that they had none. The correct and documented facts remain under investigation.
