Last Will and Testament of Mathias Loy

In the Name of God, amen. I Mathias Loy of Greenwitch Town Ship in the county of Berks and Province of Pennsylvania being weak in Body but of Sound Memory Blessed be God, Do this Day and in the year of our Lord one Thousand and Seven Hundred and Sixty two Make and Publish this my last will and Testament in Manner Following, that is to say I give Unto my Eldest Son George Loy one Hundred and Fifty acres of Land or there a Bouts, that is to Say the hole premises where I now Live in with the appurtenances there Unto to have and to hould for Ever and also the named Mathias Loy so Long as he liveth or his wife Marry Loy they are to have of the Said Land and Premises So Long as they liveth Ten Bushels of wheate and also Twenty Bushels of Rie one year and every year and also two cows that is good in Milk and the(n) a sone named George Loy is to find feed for the said two cows Every Year and also two (?) that each of them will way one Hundred pounds a pees this yeare (unreadable) every year and also Fifty pounds of Beef every Year and also two Hundred of Eggs every year and also one Bushel of Salt and also half a pound of allspice half a pound of peper Every year and also the third row of apple trees and also two sheep the Choice of all the flock and also one Quarter of Acre of Flax Land with the Seed thereof and also half the Kitchengarden and that to be (unreadable) Every Year as it wants and also the said George Loy must take his fathers grain to the mill and Home againe according as he wants it and also the Said Mathias Loy after his Death in Case that he should Die his wife Marry Loy is to have half the above said grain Cattle mate fruits as Long as She Liveth but in cause if she Should marry a Nother man then all these Fruits and Cattle to be void and also the said Mathias Loy and his wife Mary Loy has Liberty to Live in the new House as long as they live and the said George Loy is to previde firewood for the Said House as long as his Father and mother Lives and also I give unto my Second Eldest Son Michel Loy one Hundred and Fifty acres of Land joyning Martain Keffer and George Kreamer which Land is Reckned to be worth Forty fore pounds and also to my third Eldest Son Adam Loy forty pounds to be paid yearly out of my Estate as followeth, that is to Say my Son George Loy must pay him ten pounds the third Day of January in the year of our Lord one Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy Six and also the above Said George Loy must pay unto his Brother Adam Loy Ten pounds in the year of our Lord one Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy Seven and also two sheep and my son George Loy must pay unto his Sister Margret Loy after his Fathers Death Twelve pounds and ten Shillings and also the Next Ensuing hear Twelve pounds and ten shillings and also to his sister Catherine the next ensuing year Twelve pounds and ten shillings and also his Sister Susan Twelve pounds and ten shillings and also the next ensuing year Twelve and ten shillings and Two cows and Two sheep that is to say when she is maried and also to his Sister Mary Twelve pounds and ten shillings and also the next ensuing year Twelve pounds and ten shillings and Two Cows and Two Sheep that is to say when She maries In this my Will Contained and (unreadable) my loving frends Over Seers of this my will Contained take care and see the Same performed according to my true Intent and Meaning and for their pains I give each of them in witness whereof I the said Mathias Loy have to this my Last Will and Testament Set my hand and Seal this 22nd Day of February in the Year of our Lord one thousand Seven Hundred & sixty two as and for his Last will and Testament in the Presence of Us who were Present at the Signing and Sealing thereof
