Last Will and Testament of Benjamin Kline

Richmond Township, Berks County, PA.

In the name of God, Amen,

I Benjamin Kline, of Richmond Township Berks County, Pennsylvania, Yeoman, being of Sound mind, memory, and understanding, do make and publish this, my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made, in manner and form following.

1st I give and devise unto my son Nathan Kline, his heirs and assigns forever, My messuage Tenement and tract of Land, situate in Richmond township Berks County, Pennsylvania, adjoining land of Reuben Weidenhammer, James Merkel, Reuben Kline and others, Containing Fifty acres, more or less, with all the appurtenances, thereto belonging he my said son Nathan Kline to pay thereout, unto my son Reuben R. Kline the sum of One thousand dollars in two instalments of five hundred dollars each, the first to be due one year after my decease, and the other in two years after my decease.

2nd I give and devise unto my two sons Benjamin Kline and Nathan Kline, their heirs and assigns, my Tract or piece of land in said Township, adjoining land of Benjamin Kline, Widow Hill, and Solomon Ely, Containing about Twenty acres, to be divided between them so that Benjamin will get Eight acres along his other land to be cut off by a line running parallel to his line, which he shall have as his share thereof, and Nathan, the other part, in addition to what I have already herein given him. For which Eight acres of Land my said Son Benjamin shall pay unto my son Benneville, the sum of Eight hundred dollars, payable one year after my decease.

3rd I give and devise unto my son Benjamin Kline the sum of One thousand five hundred dollars (this being the amount of a bond which I hold against him.)

4th I give and devise unto my three Sons, Reuben R. Kline, Nathan Kline, and Benneville Kline, their heirs and assigns, my Woodland in Ruscombmanor township, Containing about Twelve acres, to be divided between them so that Reuben may get four acres along the line of Jacob Rothermel, and the remainder to be divided between the said Nathan and Benneville as they may see fit.

5th I give and devise unto my Daughter Esther and her child or children the sum of six hundred and sixty six dollars and sixty six cents.

6th I give and devise unto my daughter Elizabeth the sum of Six hundred and sixty six dollars and sixty six cents.

7th I give and devise unto my daughter Catharine the sum of six hundred and sixty six dollars and sixty six cents.

The residue or remainder of my Estate I give and devise unto my children, share and share alike.

And lastly I nominate, constitute and appoint my four sons Reuben, Benjamin, Benneville and Nathan as Executors of this my will and testament.
