Last Will and Testament of William R. Bickel

In the name of God Amen

I William R. Bickel of the township of North Heidelberg in the county of Berks and state of Pennsylvania, Yeoman, being of sound memory, mind and understanding do make and publish this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made.

As to such estate as it has pleased God to entrust me with, I dispose of the same as follows to Wit:

Item, I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Anna Maria, all my household furniture, and farm stock and in general all my personal property during her natural life what I now possess and what may hereafter be added thereto, but she shall not be allowed to give any away before her death and after her death the same shall fall to my daughter Sarah in case she should not survive me then to her children, and to the children of my deceased daughter Emma, share for share alike, that is to say each daughter’s share to be the same.

Lastly-I appoint my esteemed friend John W. Fisher as the executor of this my last will and testament. In witness thereof I William R. Bickel the testator have to this my last will and testament set my hand and seal this thirteenth day of November one thousand eight hundred and ninety three.

Signed and sealed published and declared by the above named William R. Bickel as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who have thereunto subscribed our names as witnesses thereto in the presence of us (the names are not clear at all)

Proved March 26, 1894 same day Letters of Testimony granted unto John W. Fisher the executor named in the will, he being first been duly qualified, the testator died March 14, 1894.
