Last Will and Testament of Peter Kinert (?-1805)

In the name of God Amen I Peter Kinert of Robson Township Berks County being of sound disposing mind and memory make this my last Will and Testament as follows viz.

I direct my Executors herein after named to pay my funeral expenses out of my estate.

Item I give to my wife Christina the full use and privilege of the House I now have in together with use of all the House and kitchen furniture and the use of all monies and outstanding debts during her life then to be distributed as herein mentioned.

Item I give and bequeath to my son Jacob one large ten plate stove walnut table now in room down stairs a small ten plate stove in the room up stairs.

Item I direct my executors to make distributions after my and my wife death of what may remain of my estate in the following manner viz. That they pay to my son Jacob 50 pounds unto George Clevenstein fifty pound in the first place twenty five pound each unto the three children of George Clevenstein and then if any over plus should remain to be equally divided between my sons Jacob Peter and Michael and my son in law George Clevenstein. I nominate and appoint my friends Jacob Wicklein and Phillip Huet to be the executors of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all other wills and testaments by me made. Witness my hand this eleventh day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and five.

Registers Office Reading in Berks County Jun 6 A Domini 1805 there appeared James Scull and Samuel Robinson the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing Will, who being sworn did declare and say, that they were present together and did see and hear Peter Kinert the testator, sign, seal, publish pronounce and declare the same writing as and for his last Will and Testament, and then at the of the doing thereof, the Testator was of sound mind memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge and as they verify (?Clicor?) and further that the names James Scull and Samuel Robinson are of the witnessed own handwriting (?????) subscribed in the presence of each other and the present at the request of the testator.
