At an Orphans' Court held at Reading in and for said County on the Twelvth day of January A.D. One thousand Eight hundred forty seven before the Honorable John Banks Esquire President and John Stauffer and William High associate Judges Justices of said Court, Upon the Petition of Jacob Heffner Guardian of Sarah Miller a minor Child of Daniel Miller and Grand Child of Jacob Miller Late of Windsor Township, Berks County deceased, Setting forth That the said Jacob Miller died Some time in the year 1828 having made his last will and Testament by which he directed that the share Coming to his son Daniel Miller aforesaid out of his Estate, Should be Invested in such Real Estate whereon the said Daniel & his family might reside and farm and after the decease of the said Daniel, the said Share of Daniel was bequeathed to the heirs and representatives of the said Daniel Miller, Share and Share alike, the said Jacob Miller appointed a Trustee for the purpose of Carrying out the provisions of his said will in relation to the said Daniel which trustee in pursuance of the directions of said will, invested the share of the said Daniel in a certain one Story Stone house and Log Stable and about twelve acres of land, Situate in Ruscombmanor Township Berks County adjoining lands of George Shade, Jonathan Miller, John Reider, Jacob Sholl and Jacob Price Your Petitioner further Represents that the said Daniel Miller died about seven years ago leaving a widow_Elizabeth now intermarried with Jacob Heffner and four Children, to wit Jacob Miller, Mary intermarried with Samuel Huy, Lydia intermarried with Robert Sammons and Sarah_ That the said Tract of land with the appurtenances owing to the lapes & repairs and inability to procure responsible Tenants are unproductive, and Expensive _ and in Such a state of dilapidation & decay, that it would be to the interest of the said minors that the Same should be sold_ your petitioner therefore prays your honor, to grant him an order of Sale for the sale of the said Real Estate Whereupon the Court upon due consideration approve of the security in Bonds filed and order and direct the said Guardian to expose the said Real Estate to sale by Public Vendue or outcry on Friday the 5th of February next, with liberty at the Public House of Benjamin Messersmith in Coxtown Richmond Township Berks County, he giving due Public and timely notice of the time and place of sale according to law with liberty to adjourn as to time and place and that he make return of his proceedings herein to the Next Stated orphans Court after Such Sale.

Jacob Heffner Guardian of Sarah Miller one of the minor children of Daniel Miller dec'd Reports, that in pursuance of the within order of court he did at the time and place therein mentioned, having given due public and timely notice of the time and place of sale, expose the premises therein described, to sale by public vendue or outcry and sold the same to Daniel Bushkirk of the Township of Ruscombmanor for the sum of Five Hundred and Five Dollars, he being the highest and best bidder and that the highest price bidder for the same, and he respectfully prays that the Sale so made may be confirmed by the Court
