Proved March 15 and letters testamentary in Common form and the seal of office were granted to John Weitzel and Peter Weitzel the Executors in the Will named. They be first duly qualified thereto.

In the Name of God Amen

I, Michael Weitzel, of West Cocalico Township, Lancaster County and State of Pennsylvania, being sick and weak in body but of sound mind memory and understanding, I ordain in this my last will and Testament I recomment my soul into the hand of Almighty God who gave it and my body I recomment to the earth to be buried decently at the discretion of my Executors herein after named, and as such worldly estate werewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life, I give and dispose thereof as followeth;

First it is my will and I do order that all my just debts and funeral expenses be duly paid and satisfied as soon as conveniently can be after my decease, by my executors herein after named;

Item. I give and bequeath unto my dear wife Juliana as much and such household furniture and one bed and kitchen utensils as she stance in need of and shall choose to have during to hold the same for her own use during her natural life and after her decease, the same what shall then be left shall be sold by my executors herein after named on Public Vendue and the money arising thereout shall and is my will then be divided to and amongst all my children hereafter named in equal shares.

Item. I give and bequeath unto my dear wife Juliana the use and occupation of this my house and lot of ground in Cumru township, Berks County, joining lands of John Weitzel, Polly Pain, Michael Ruth and others, which I have hereinafter bequeathed to my daughter Susanah, to house and occupie the same unto my dear wife Juliana during her natural life as Tenant in Common with herein after named daughter Susanah, during their natural lives and no longer, and further I give and bequeath unto my dear wife Juliana, order and direct that after all other my real and person estate is sold and my just debts paid, the remaintor of the money yet remaining shall be subject to the use and maintenance of my dear wife Juliana as followeth; the money shall be lent out in interest by my executors and the interest is my will shall be paid to my dear wife Juliana yearly and in case the interest should not be sufficient to keep my dear wife during sickness and health in such as case my executors shall take from the principal sum as much annually as will be sufficient to keep my dear wife during her natural life.

Item. I give and bequeath order and direct that my daughter Susanah shall have the use and occupation of that the above mentioned house and lost of ground in Cumru Township, which I have given and bequeathed to my dear wife Juliana as Tenant in Common with her mother, my said wife, during her natural life and in case my wife Juliana should die before my daughter Susanah, in this case I order and is my will that my daughter shall have the use and occupation of said house and premises during her natural life and no longer; provided my said daughter shall maintain and keep her mother, my said wife, during her natural life in washing, mending and dress her well as long as she shall live.

Item. I give and bequeath order and direct that my executors hereinafter named shall sell all my land whereon I know live, situated in West Cocalico Township, Lancaster County with all the improvements thereon erected as soon as conveniently can be after my decease, on public Vendue for the best price that can be gotten and my executors are to sign the deed or deeds to the purchaser or purchasers thereof which shall be as good and sufficient in law or if I had executed the same myself. and my executors shall sell all my real and personal estate whatever the sum be for which thereas not otherwise provided by me hereabove on public vendue as soon as conveniently can be after my decease and with the money ? thereout they my executors shall pay off all my debts and after all debts and legal charges are paid I order that my executors hereinafter named or the survivors of them shall file an Administators Account in the Register office at Lancaster and the balance which they shall then have in their hands shall be lent out on interest on good security and the interest to be paid by my executors yearly to my dear wife Juliana during her natural life and in case the interest should not be sufficient to keep my dear wife Juliana they my executors shall annually collect so much of the principal sum and give it to my dear wife Juliana as she my said wife shall have need of during her natural life and after the decease of said wife Juliana the said principal sum yet remaining in my executors hands or the survivors of them after the legal charges and expenses are taken care of shall then be paid and divided in seven equal shares and be distributed followeth to my son Elias Weitzel one share, and to my son John Weitzel, one share and to my son Peter Weitzel, one share and to my daughter Poly one share and to my daughter Catherina, one share and to my daughter Susanah one share and to my two grandsons, Adam Frey and Elias Frey one share, being the seven shares.

Item. and further I give and bequeath unto my the above named two grandson's, the said Adam Frey and Elias Frey, sons from my daughter Susanah all that the house and land with all the improvements and appertanances bequeathed by me here above unto my dear wife Juliana and my said daughter Susanah as Tenants in Common during their natural lives as above described it is my will and I give the said house and lands after the decease of my wife Juliana and my daughter Susanah, unto said Adam Frey and Elias Frey as Tenants in common and that of joint tenants to hold the said lands with all the improvements unto them their heirs and assignees forever and my other above named children shall have no share in and out of the last mentioned premises after the decease of my said wife Juliana and my said daughter Susanah.

Item and lastly I nominate constitute and appoint my two sons John Weitzel and Peter Weitzel to be the executors of this my last will and testament; hereby revoking all over wills by me heretofore made and declaring this and no other to be my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this seventh day of October in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Forty-Two.

Berks County ss; On the 15th day of March A. D. 1845 appeared Henry Shouer and Michael Borkholder witnesses to the within written will and being duly sworn according to the law did depose and say that they were present and did see and hear the Testator, Michael Weitzel, sign seal publish and pronounce and declare the within instrument of writing as and for his last will and Testament and that at the time of the doing thereof he, the said Testator, was of sound mind memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge observation and belief
