Last Will and Testament

Spring Twp 1910

In the name of God, Amen:

I Mary Ringler, of the Township of Spring, in the County of Berks and State of Pennsylvania, being of sound mind, memory and understanding, do make and publish this as my last will and Testament, hereby revoking any and all former wills by me at any time heretofore made.

Item. I direct that after my death my body be decently interred beside the body of my deceased husband, Daniel Ringler, in Seitzingers Cemetery in Cumru Township, Berks County, and that my hereinafter named Executor provide a suitable Tombstone to be placed over my Grave, also one for the Grave of my deceased husband Daniel Ringler, and one for the Grave of my son Timothy Ringler, deceased.

Item. I direct my hereinafter named Executor as soon as possible after my death to sell the house and lot in which I now reside on Franklin Street, West Reading, Berks County, to the best advantage, at either public or private sale and after the payment of all my debts, my Executor is to pay my Granddaughter Ida Veilhart the sum of five dollars, the balance to be divided among my children as follows-

One share to my daughter Emma Burns, widow of William Burns,

One share to the children of my deceased son Louis Ringler,

One share to my son Solomon Ringler,

One share to my son Jackson Ringler,

One share to my daughter Kate, wife of Charles Good,

One share to Sophia, wife of Henry Leader,

One share to the children of my deceased daughter Mary Breniser.

I direct that my wearing apparel be equally divided among my three daughters Emma Burns, Kate Good, and Sophia Leader.

I hereby appoint Edward Yeager of Reading, Pennsylvania, as the Executor of this my last Will and Testament.

Witness my hand and seal this Twenty third day of August, A.D. one thousand nine hundred and nine.

Account of Edward Yeager

In the Orphans' Court of Berks County.

Estate of Mary Ringler, late of the Township of Spring, Deceased.

The Account of Edward Yeager, executor, after due publication in accordance with the law and the Rules of Court, was called for an audit March 4, 1912 and the audit closed.

The decedent died, testate and unmarried, on the 21st day of November, 1910, having, by her last will and testament, disposed of her estate as follows:

To a granddaughter, Ida Veilhart, she gave a special pecuniary legacy of $5.00, and the balance of her estate she divided as follows:

"One share to my daughter Emma Burns, Widow of William Burns, one share to the children of my deceased son Louis Ringler, one share to my son Solomon Ringler, one share to my son Jackson Ringler, one share to my daughter Kate, wife of Charles Good, one share to my daughter Sophia, wife of Henry Leader Jr., one share to the children of my deceased daughter Mary Breneiser."

The said Louis Ringler, deceased left to survive him two children, viz., Sarah Moyer and Henry Ringler.

The said Mary Breneiser, deceased, left to survive her the following children, viz., Ida Sheeler, Oliver Breneiser and Daniel Breneiser, the last named being a minor, having for his Guardian the Reading Trust Company.

Solomon Ringler, a son and legatee, has assigned his share in the estate to Sophia Leader.

The accountant asks for, and is allowed, an additional credit of $6.00, paid for minister and choir.
