Reading 1897
I John Jenewein, of the City of Reading County of Berks and State of Pennsylvania, being of sound mind memory and understanding do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void, all former wills by me, at any time heretofore made.
First: I direct that my body be decently interred, and that my funeral be conducted in a manner, corresponding with my estate and situation in life.
Item: Whatever property I may have at the time of my decease, whether real, personal, or mixed, I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Caroline Jenewein, absolutely.
Lastly: I, do hereby nominate and appoint my said wife to be the Executrix of this my last will, and testament.
In testimony whereof, I the said John Jenewein have to this my last will and testament subscribed my name and affixed my seal this Thirty First day of January A.D. one thousand eight hundred and seventy seven.

Signed, sealed, published and declared by the said John Jenewein as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us, who at his request and in his presence, and on the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.
