A true and perfect inventory and just appraisement of all and singular the goods and chattels, rights, and credits which were of Henry Long late of the township of Lower Heidelberg in the County of Berks and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, yeoman, deceased, at the time of his death, to wit:

Personally appeared before me the subscriber, one of the Justices of the Peace in and for the said County Benjamin Gerhart and Isaac Field who upon their solemn do depose and say, that they at the request of the Administratrix did well and truly and without prejudice or partiality, value and appraise the goods, chattels and credits which were of Henry Long, deceased, as set forth in the Inventory hereto annexed, and in all respects perform their duties as appraisers to the best of their skill and judgment.

Appraisement of Estate of Henry Long, deceased

Filed Oct. 30, 1862

Register's Office, Reading, Berks Co. October 18 A.D. 1862. To Thomas Werner of Lower Heidelberg township and you are hereby appointed by Benj. E. Dry, Register, in and for said county:

This is to notify that you are required to put a fair valuation on the real estate of which Henry Long late of Lower Heidelberg township, died seized or possessed, also to make a fair and conscionable appraisement of the personal estate of said decedent; also to fix and assess the present cash value of all annuities, and life estates growing out of said estate, the same being subject to collateral inheritance tax; and make return of your proceedings forthwith to the Register, at his office in Reading.

Sworn and subscribed before me this 30th of October A.D. 1862, Danl. Potteiger, Dep. Regr.

Agreeably to the above order, I the Appraisers above named, being first duly qualified according to law, have duly made the appraisements and valuation of the estate of Henry Long above named, deceased, as appears by the annexed report, which I herewith return to the Register, at his office in Reading.
