Last Will and Testament of David Wynn

dated September 10, 1847

In the Name of God, Amen: I David Wynn of Union Township Berks County and State of Pennsylvania, being weak in body and of sound mind, meory & understaning; but, consdiering the uncertainty of this transitory life, do make and publish this my last will and Testament, in manner and form followinf, to wit:

First: It is my Will, and I do order, that all Just debts and funeral expenses be duly paid and satisfied, as soon as conveniently cab be, after my decease.

Item. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Catherine Martin the wife of Robert Martin the sum of one hundred dollars, The sum of one hundred dollars unto my daughter Mary Rogers the wife of John Rogers, The sum of one hundred dollars unto my son David Winn, The sum of twenty five dollars and mu house hold and kitchen furniture unto my daughter Rebecca Mock widow, The sum of twenty five dollars unto John Mock one of the sons of the said Rebecca Mock, the sum of twenty five dollars unto David Mock one other of the sons of the said Rebecca Mock, the sum of one dollar unto my son James Winn, the sum of one hundred dollars unto my son Samuel Winn, I give and bequeath a Note of thirteen dollars I hold against David Wagonseller the husband of my daughter Anna which is to be their full share of my Estate, I give and bequeath the sum of twenty five dollars unto my daughter Margaret Wagonseller the wife of John Wagonseller, I give and bequeath the sum of one dollar unto my son John Winn, I give & bequeath the sum of one dollar unto my daughter Harriet Winn. It is my will that my Executor herein after named do cause head and foot Marble stones to be up at my grave and at the grave of my late wife.

And as to the rest and residue of my estate it is my will that it be equally divided between the children of my two daughters above named, to wit, Rebecca Mock and Mary Rogers, the above legacies to be paid to the above named heirs or to their heirs & assigns by my Executor herein after named in one year after my decease unless lawfully prevented therefrom.

And lastly I nominate constitute and appoint Evan Evans of Robeson Township Berks County, to be the Executor of this my last will and testament, revoking and cancelling all other wills and legacies by me heretofore made, declaring this and no other to be my last Will and testament. In Writing whereof, I have hereunto set my hand & seal this tenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand and eight hundred and forty seven.
