1890 Reading
Know all: Men by these presents, that I Daniel Ringler, boat builder, of the City of Reading, in the County of Berks and state of Pennsylvania, being of sound disposing mind and memory, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament.
First: I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary all that certain frame house and lot or piece of ground situate on the East side of Canal Street No: 239 on the City of Reading, together with all my household furniture, wearing apparel and all the rest residue of my personal property.
Second: I ordain and appoint my wife Mary, as Executrix of this my last Will and Testament.
In testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal, and publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament in the presence of the witnesses named below this thirty first day if January in the year of Our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty One.

Signed, sealed, published and declared by the said Daniel Ringler as and for his last Will and Testament, in the presence of us, who, at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other, have subscribed our names as witnesses hereto.

On the 14th of March A.D. 1890 before me personally appeared Henry Gundlach one of the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing will, who being duly sworn according to Law did dispose and say that he was present and did see and hear Daniel Ringler, testator, sign seal publish and declare the foregoing instrument of writing as and for his last will and testament, that at the time of so doing he was of sound mind, memory and understanding to the best of his knowledge and belief.
There personally appeared Henry Gundlach and William R Sharman who being sworn according to law did say that they were well acquainted with Joel G Sharman, one of the subscribing witnesses to the forgoing will and testament of Daniel Ringler, decd; and are familiar with his signature having frequently seen him write his own name as well as other matters: that they carefully examined the foregoing signature and verily believe it to be in his own proper handwriting.
