Estate of Benjamin Klopp

Guardianship of Klopp Children, May 3, 1821

KNOW all men by these presents that we John BOOKS and Adam DUNDORE both of the township of Bern in the County of Berks and the state of Pennsylvania Guardians of the Children of Benjamin KLOPP late of Heidelberg township County and State aforesaid deceased for and in Consideration of the sum of one thousand and Eleven Dollars and Sixty one and half cents to us in hand paid by Elizabeth KLOPP Peter KLOPP and Jacob ERNST administrators of the said Benjamin KLOPP deceased it being the amount of a ballance remaining in their hands Except five hundred and five dollars Eighty and one half cent it being wdows dower have on the first part and behalf of the the said Children remised, released, quit claimed and for Ever Discharged and by these persons do remise release quit Claim and for ever discharge the said Elizabeth KLOPP Peter KLOPP and Jacob ERNST their heris Executors and Administrators and Every of them of and from all manner of Actions Cause and Causes of Actions Suits or debts dues duties and Sums of Momey, Accounts reckonings bonds bills Specialties(?) Covenants contracts Agreements promises Claims and demands whatsoever in law of Equity or otherwise howsoever which the said Children had against the Estate both real and personal of their said father Benjaminm KLOPP deceased from the beginning of the world to the day of the date of these presents IN witness whereof we have hereunto set our own hand ans seals as Guardians aforesaid the third day of May Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and twenty one John BOOKS (seal) Adam Dundore (Seal) Witness present Peter KLOPP Jacob RHOADS Berks County Js. on the 3rd day of May AD one thousand Eight hundred and twenty one, before me the Subscriber one of the Justices of the peace in and for the said County came John BOOKS and Adam DUNDORE Guardian of the Children above named and Acknowledged the above release to be their Act and Deed and to the end that the same might be recorded as such recorder to laws IN Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year aforesaid.
