Last Will and Testament of Amos Becker

Be it Remembered,

That I, Amos Becker of the Township of Alsace in the County of Berks and the State of Pennsylvania being of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding, and considering the uncertainty of life, do therefore make, publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament, in manner and form following, that is to say:

1st I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses shall be paid by my Executors hereafter named out of my estate as soon after my decease as found convenient.

2nd I give and bequeath the whole of my property both personal and real, to my only daughter Susan (wife of William Motz) to have and to hold during her natural life and after her death should her husband survive and remarry then all the property shall at once descend to their children in the following manner;

3rd To my grandson Amos B. Motz , two hundred dollars and the remainder divided share and share alike between Amos B. Motz, Sallie Louisa Motz and Hettie B Motz.

4th I also direct that the property shall be kept in good repair.

And lastly, I do make constitute and appoint my daughter Susan Motz and her husband William Motz to be Executors of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former Wills and Testaments by me at any time hereto made, and declaring this to be my last Will and Testament.

In witness where of, I have hereunto subscribed my name, and affixed my seal, the Fifth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and five.

Signed, Sealed, published and declaried by the testator above named, as and for his last Will and Testament. In the presence of us, who have hereunto at his request, subscribed our names in his presence, and in the presence of each other as witnesses hereto.
