Schuylkill Valley Building Association Was Properous Throughout Its Entire Career.

Schuylkill Association has been in operation 15 years and 4 months. The first meeting was held at Christian Ricker's Hotel, Front and Washington, Nov. 20, 1883, and at the meeting of May 20, 1899, the association terminated.

The following business men were the officers in charge at the close: President, Wellington VANREED; vice-president, F. P. HELLER; secretary, P. M. ERMENTROUT; treasurer, J. E. LEHKICHER; directors, D. F. MARKLEY, A. F. HAAS, George M. ERMENTROUT, John R. BECHTEL, J. H. MALTZBERGER, Elijah BULL, John R, MILLER, Jacob WINGART, John STROUSE, the latter just deceased. Some of the officers held their positions for years.
