The Court appoints Samuel Addams guardian of the minors with named.
To the Honourable Robert Porter, Esq. and his associate judges of the Court of Common Pleas of Berks County now come praying an orphans Court in and for said county.
The petition of Barbara Hebner widow and relict of Bernhart Hebner deceased, who has left four children, to wit, Peter, Samuel, John, & Mary all of which are minors and under the age of fourteen years and have no guardian to take charge of their persons or estates. Your petitioner therefore prays your honours to appoint Samuel Addams guardian for the purposes of the aforesaid.
And she will pray &tc.

That her husband deceased about a year since leaving four children, to wit, Peter, Samuel, John & Mary, who are minors under the age of fourteen years and have no guardian to take care of their persons or estates your petitioner therefore prays your honors to appoint Jacob Weitzel for the purposes aforesaid and she will pray &tc.
