Assignee's Sale of the Real Estate of Charles Aulenbach.

On Saturday, the 10th of January, 1863, at 1 o'clock P.M. will be offered at public sale at the public house of Jacob Schmucker in Reading, Berks County, by the undersigned Assignees of Charles Aulenbach and wife, the following described Real Estate situate in the City of Reading and Alsace township, Berks county, to wit:

No. 1. A valuable Building Lot, located on the East side of the Reading and Perkiomen turnpike, adjoining the cottage property of the Rev. William A. Good, containing in front on said turnpike 85 feet and in depth 300 feet--the entire Lot containing 95 perches. On this lot are a number of choice Fruit Trees and a Grapery in fine bearing condition.

No. 2. A lot of ground, immediately in the rear of the above, containing 105 perches, bounded by property of William A. Good on the north, on the east by property of William Weimer, and on the west by Lot No. 1. This lot will be sold with Lot No. 1 or seperate if desired.

No. 3. A lot of ground adjoining No. 1 and 2 on the north and the turnpike on the west, containing in front on the turnpike 36 feet and in depth 700 feet, the entire lot being 126 perches. The improvements on this lot are a substantial two-story house and other buildings, fruit trees, &c.

No. 4. A lot of ground, adjoining No. 3 on the north and the Turnpike on the west, containing in front on said turnpike 128 feet, and in depth 700 feet, being 2 acres and 10 perches. Said lot contains a barn, fruit trees, well of water, &c.

The above lots are admirably adapted for cottage residences being in an elevated part of the city, commanding a fine view of the city and adjacent county. The Reading Water Company's conduit pipes pass through them.

Also at the same time and place,

No. 5. A tract containing 3 acres and 122 perches of improved land, situate in Alsace township, Berks County, adjoining the Philadelphia Turnpike, lands of Daniel Helfrich, Reading Water Company, and others.

No. 6. A tract containing 2 acres and 74 perches of partly cleared and partly Chestnut Timber land, adjoining tract no. 5, above described, and the Philadelphia Turnpike.

Assignee's Sale of Personal Property. -- Will be sold on Friday, March 12th, 1869, at 1 o'clock, P.M., at the Halfway House in the township of Maidencreek, the following personal property, to wit:

Beds and bedding, chairs, tables, stoves, carpet, shades and blinds, mirrors, washstands, tin ware, bureaus, chests, halters, bridles, saddles, forks and various other articles.

Hoffman, Henry G.

Assignee's Sale of Real and Personal Property. -- Will be sold at public sale on the premises on Saturday, October 2d, 1875, all that certain messuage, tenement and small farm, situate in Earl township, Berks county, adjoining lands of Isaac Geissinger, William K. Grim, Jacob M. Dotterer, Daniel Mathias, Isaac Moyer and others; containing 48 acres, more or less, being wood, meadow and farm land in a good state of cultivation. The improvements thereon are a double dwelling house, part stone and part log; a new Swiss or bank barn, carpenter shop, and other necessary outbuildings, good water and an excellent apple orchard in its prime of bearing. The personal property consisting of 1 horse, 3 cows, 1 heifer, 2 swine, 6 shoats, wheat, rye, oats, and potatoes by the measure; hay, second crop and straw by weight; about 3 acres of corn on the ground, apples in the orchard, plow, harrow, 1 one-horse wagon, carriage, milk wagon, 2 sets yankee harness, single harness, 2 sets of hay ladders, wheel barrow, cider press, grindstone, carpenter tools, together with a variety of other farming implements. Also a variety of household goods.

Jacobs, Thomas

Assignees' Sale of a Valuable Farm in Robeson Township. -- Will be sold at public sale, on Saturday, November 28, 1874, on the premises, all that valuable farm, late the property of Thomas Jacobs, situate in Robeson township, Berks county, close by the Friends' Meeting House, half-way between Beckerville and White Bear Station on the Wilmington and Reading R.R., and one mile from the latter place. The farm contains one hundred and forty-one acres and twenty-seven perches, about forty acres being woodland, much of which is ready for cutting. There is a never-failing spring of pure water at the door, and the place is well stocked with fruit of all kinds. The buildings are nearly new, and consist of a large stone house, very complete, a large stone barn with all necessary out-buildings in excellent order. The farm is well suited for a dairy, (fine pastures and good soil), and is one of the most desirable homes in the township.

Middleton, R.A.

Public Sale of Valuable Real Estate -- Will be sold at Public Sale, on Tuesday, Oct. 22d, 1872, on the premises, the following valuable real estate, viz:

A valuable Furnace Property, to settle up an estate on the Union Canal at Union Deposit, Dauphin county, Pa., one mile from Swatara Station, Lebanon Valley Railroad, consisting of a No. 1 Stone Stack, now in blast, with ample power of engine and boilers in a good condition; two Hot Blast Ovens; a large Foundry, (107x50 feet); Brick Mansion, ten Tenant Houses, Blacksmith Shop, a Stock House, ample stabling and all the necessary arrangements for successfully carrying on the business.

The above furnace, with the convenient ores of the neighborhood, is capable of averaging 100 tons of pig iron per week. The stack, engine, &c., is suitable for an enlargement of the Furnace capacity, with but little extra expense.

Assignee's Sale.--Will be sold at public sale, at the public house of Jacob E. Snyder, in Snydersville, Exeter township, Berks county, on Saturday, January 30th, 1869, the following personal property of Jacob E. Snyder, to wit:

9 Horses, 31(?) head of sheep, one new two-seated carriage buggy, new spring wagon with cover, a one horse farm wagon, sleigh, horse gears, winnowing mill, grain cradles, Hoog(?) Plow, Harrow, Shovel Harrow, a lot of nails, a lot of empty barrels, a large copper kettle and a great many other articles.

Wily, Penrose

Assignee's Sale of Real Estate and Personal Property -- Will be sold at public sale, on the premises of Dr. Penrose Wily, in the village of Leesport, Berks county, on Tuesday, October 27, 1874, the following Real Estate, to wit:

No. 1. -- That certain two-story brick house and lot of ground fronting on Main street, in the village of Leesport, adjoining property of Leesport Iron Co., and other property of Penrose Wily, containing in front 38 feet and in depth 100 feet. This property is in excellent condition, and the lot contains a number of choice fruit trees in the prime of bearing.

No. 2. -- That two-story frame house and lot of ground adjoining the above on the west. Also in good condition, will make a nice little home for a modest man, the lot contains an abundance of choice vines and fruit trees, and every thing is in nice order.

Also, at the same time and place a large amount of personal property: Two cows, heavy and light wagons, carriages, wagon beds, ladders, roller, ploughs, harrows, cultivators, light and heavy harness, single and double swingletrees, chains, grindstone, horse power, thresher, winnowing mill, and every kind of farming implements. Also Household goods: Beds, bedding, bureaus, chairs, carpets, mirrors, stands, benches, meat tubs, copper kettle, and the thousand other things about a well furnished house; a large lot of old iron; two splendid hives of bees, and other articles too numerous to mention, all of which will be sold. The property of Dr. Penrose Wily.
