    Notes for Agnes E Rambo:
Woman, 95, Dies Here After Brief Illness
"Mrs Agnes Kissinger, 95, one of the oldest members of Trinity Lutheran Church, and believed to be the oldest former school tacher in Reading, died this morning in the Reading Hospital. She was admitted to the hospital on Sunday afternoon from the Lutheran Hospice, 1516 Mineral Spring Road, where she had resided the past five years. A remarkably well-preserved woman for her age, Mrs Kissinger was a familiar figure to visitors at the Hospice and to passersby. In spite of her years she came to the table for all her meals and was daily seen about the grounds of the home, usually seated on the porch feeding squirrels that lived on the premises and who had become quite tame in her presence. She had given names to the different squirrels and was in the habit of feeding them from her hand, calling them in turn, by name.
She was the widow of Isaac Kissinger, who many years ago was a member of the city police force. The couple one time conducted a store at 606 North 9th Street.
She was a native of Reading, a daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Thomas Rambo. She graduated from the old Reading Girls' High School in 1876, and taught school for a few years after her graduation.
Survivors include a step-brother, Williaam F Rambo, operator of a newsstand and tobacco store at 14 North 2nd Street, Reading, and two step-sisters, Jennie, wife of Charles Haag, and Elizabeth, widow of William Ritzie, both of Shoemakersville. There are also a number of nephews and nieces. Arrangements for the funeral, being made later today, are in charge of the Miller Funeral Home."
