I have in my possession the Estate Records of George Hertz, b. abt 1771, died
July 6, 1843 in Alsace Twp., Berks Co. George was the son of Johannes Hertz
and Anna Ottilla Schwartzbaugh. George married Dorothea Boppemeyer.
Children are: John, David, Cathrine, Susan and Jacob. If any one would be interested in
these records, please contact me.
I am searching for the parents of my Jacob HERTZ/HARTZ b. 1800/01 in PA.
Jacob died in Schuylkill Co., PA. I have found a possible connection; Johannes Jacob HERTZ, bp 17 Sept 1801, Upper Bermudian Ch, Huntington Twp, Adams Co., PA Parents: George HERTZ and Anna. Any HERTZ researchers, have information on this particular George HERTZ?
Regarding the Hertz Records. These are Letters of Administration and include
an Inventory of the Estate. It is a total of 46 pages. Could not possibly
type all this information, which includes columns of figures etc. I would
have to send it by snail mail, as I do not have a scanner. A descendant of
George Hertz has requested this information be sent to her. If you are still
interested, I will make copies and send to you. I do have a Hertz database
which includes all the Hertzs I have collected while trying to connect.
