General Information

Northampton township was incorporated in 1851. The township was settled in 1775 and was formed from Southampton Township, which was orginally part of Londonderry Township in Bedford County.

Northampton Township is located in the south-eastern portion of the county. It is bounded to the north by Allegheny Township; to the west by Brothersvalley Township; to the south by Larimer Townships; and to the east by Fairhope and Southampton Townships.

Callimont is the main Borough of Northampton Township.
