In the name of God Amen. Baltzer GETTS of Lebanon Township in the 
County of Dauphin & State of Pennsylvania, 
yeoman, being at present weak in body but of sound mind memory and 
understanding,  thanks be rendred unto God for the same and knowing 
the certainty of Death and the uncertainty of the time thereof Do 
therefore this nineteenth Day of August in the year of our Lord one 
thousand seven Hundred and Ninety three make this my last Will and 
Testamant in manner and form following. Imprimis. I recommend my 
soul into the Hands of Almighty God who gave it me and my Body to 
the Earth to be buried in a decent and Christian like maner at the 
discreation of my Executors hereinafter named and as Touching such 
worldly Estate wherewith God hath been pleased to bless me with in 
this life.  I give and bequeath the same in manner & form following. To 
Wit. First, it is my will and I do hereby order and direct that all my Just 
Debts and funeral Expences be paid off and discharged out of my 
Estate as soon as conveniently may be after my Decease by my 
Executors hereinafter named. Item. I give and Bequeath unto my son 
Barnard GETTS the sum of three hundred pounds in real pieces of gold 
or silver money of Pennsylvania which he shall receive out of those 
Bonds and Notes which at the time of my Decease and before are 
become due and payable to me in which said sum of three hundred 
Pounds shall be included such sum or sums of money & goods as I 
have already advanced him or may yet advance him before the time of 
my Decease and which he standeth charged with in my Books.  Item. I 
further give and bequeath unto my said son Barnard GETTS in lieu of his 
birth right, five shillings Lawful money aforesaid over & above the 
aforesaid three hundred pounds and no more.  Item. The remainder or 
residue of my Estate both the real & personal, I order and direct to be 
divided into six Equal parts or shares and I do give and bequeath the 
same as follows to wit. Equell sixth part thereof to my Daughter 
Catharine now the wife of Jacob EMBIG[EMBICH]; one other equal sixth 
part thereof to the children of my said Daughter Cathrine to be equall-- 
Divided between them two other equal sixth parts to my Daughter, 
Rosina, the wife of Fredreick PFEIFFER and the two other equal sixth 
parts to my Daughter, Magdalena, the wife of George FRANK. And as I 
have heretofore advanced my said daughters and their Husbands certain 
sums of money with which they stand charged respectively in said 
Book. It is my will and I do hereby order and direct that so much as 
each of them have Received or may yet Receive of me before the Time 
of my Decease shall be Reducted from their respective shares or 
included in the same and as part of personal Estate consists in Bond 
Notes and bills some of which perhaps may not yet be due at the Time 
of my decease. It is my will & I order & direct that each of my said 
Daughters shall accept and take in payment a proportionable part of 
such Bonds Notes & Bills aforesaid so as together with the monies I 
have already advanced them and their husband or may yet advance to 
them respectively beofe my decease will make them equall in shares 
with each other according to the direction and in proportion as 
hereinbefore mentioned. And Lastly, I do hereby nominate, constitute & 
appoint my said son, Barnard GETTS & my son-in-Law, Jacob 
EMBIG[EMBICH] and the surviver of them Executor & Executor of this 
my last will and Testament and I do hereby revoke & make null & void 
all former & other Wills & Testaments by me heretofore made, Ratifying 
& confirming this and no other to be my last will & Testament.  In 
Witness whereof I have hereto set my hand & seal the Day and year 
first above written.  Baltzers Götz. Signed, Sealed & delivered by the 
above named Baltzer GETTS & for his Last will & Testament in the 
presence of us,( the words both real and personal being first interlined.)
